I love my Spitfire great power and control

I’ve tried many paddles and this has to be the most grittiest paddle I’ve played with. My opponents were amazed of how much spin I had on the ball. Best $99 spent using the code. The only request I have is if they can include an eraser to remove all the marks on the paddle. All in all , a great paddle!

Loved this paddle so much that I bought a second one for a friend! Can’t believe how fast the shipping was.. AMAZING paddle, sounds just like the Inferno (my fav paddle) but has much better grit. Idk how they did it with EPP, but it’s great

It is as advertised and more. Great spin and soft touch is what comes to mind after my first game with it. My wife tried it for one game and ended up taking mine. Oh well, back to the old paddle but at least she’s happy!

Overall great paddle. The paddle is not as stiff making it easier to control and a feel I prefer. Spin is super easy, my drips and drops are butter.

This paddle is just a solid paddle all around with no complaints, with the only minor point coming in a little head-heavier than my preference but easily fixed with a buttcap coin weight. Plays well stock but with the 9g coin and 2g added onto the 4&8 it plays very well. Grit grabs the ball excellently while being fine sandpaper-like.

I absolutely love this paddle. The feel is great, perfect power, not too much not too little. I have the Olympus, also the old school Apollo. This by far is my favorite. Love, love the grit. I think it is the best Budget Paddle of the Year. Keep em coming Spartus!!!

Very gritty, good power, solid pop, very hollow, and solid sweetspot which should get better if you add weight. Incredible value!

My new main!! At first I was l leery of EVA foam paddle. I have been playing a 16mm PP core paddle for 6 years. Joola,engage, etc. the sound of eva threw me off. I am used to it now, so it doesn’t bother me anymore. The spin and grit is mind boggling. The price point is insane i can basically replace it every 3 months and keep it fresh. So impressed. I don’t write reviews, because i haven’t been impressed by a paddle before. My dupr is 4.62 if you are wondering what experience and level of play this review is coming from.

I was at debating about getting the Spitfire because there are a lot of competitors out in the market but what really stood out is the Permagritnano surface. The spin is ridiculously good. The ball dips early with top spin drives. The pop is controllable. Coming from a paddle that has insane pop, the Spitfire is easy to use right out of the box. Given the numbers on paper, the static weight is light but due to the balance point being towards the top, drives are easy to perform. The internal weight keeps the paddle from twisting when hitting off center shots. The sweet spot is forgiving. A little head heavy but not terrible. The paddle is great for dinks and drops but has a surprisingly powerful drive. For its price and performance, the Spitfire is undoubtedly be one of the contenders for paddle of the year. I'm so happy to see Spartus finally put it all together in a single paddle that is an unequivocal winner in every way. Both the Olympus (with it's flawed foam-filled-cells construction that wasn't durable) and P1 (with its insanely high swingweights and edgeguard issues) were awesome paddles I could never quite give a full green light "buy" recommendation to the average 3.0-3.5 rec player. With the Spitfire, I can.

The best comp I can give for the Spitfire is a Ronbus Quanta (a paddle I loved) with all its flaws fixed. The Spitfire has the same springy, not-hollow-but-not-dense feel as the Quanta, but with 15-20% less pop and 10% less power (a good thing)—out balls with the Quanta were staying down for me with the Spitfire. The durable grit improvement also means you're able to put more shape on the ball with the Spitfire, whereas the raw carbon fiber on my Quanta smoothed out after 30 hours. Additionally, while the Spitfire still needs weight IMO like the Quanta did, the stock twist weight isn't nearly as bad as the Quanta. My spitfire came in just under 7.9oz stock—I put 6g weight on the buttcap and 3.75g on each side, and after adding an overgrip, it plays like a dream at around 8.4oz.

My only two points of critical feedback are the handle is a little too short (I wish the neck tapered just a little more aggressively to give more room around the throat) and I wish they launched this with a hybrid shape. These are minor quibbles. As a low-to-mid power paddle with a user-friendly feel out of the box and room for customization, this is an easy W for the advanced beginner and intermediate crowd. I've hesitated recommending a lot of modern power paddles to people who are aging out of their 3-year-old Vatic Prism, simply because most of them are too poppy, but the Spitfire gets an easy rec because I think the slightly soft, controlled feel offers a smooth transition to players hesitant to upgrade from older tech.

Can't believe it is only $109! I've been playing with a very high dollar paddle prior to Spartus Spitfire and the Spitfire is overall outperforming the other paddle. I has a good amount of power and pop. The spin is insane. With my high dollar paddle, it took about 2 weeks to learn to hit a little softer so that I could keep the ball from going out. Not with the Spitfire. It performed well on day one! On my second day, I didn't even pull my other paddle out of my bag, stuck with the Spitfire all day. The Spitfire allow me to hit hard without worrying about control, and hit soft with added spin. My only issue is that it needs a little higher twistweight to be more forgiving on off-center hits. Going to see if adding a little weight at the 3/9 positions help. Overall, it's a top tier paddle at an incredible price! Don't miss out on getting one.

I have used Spartus exclusively through my entire pickleball career. It was serendipitous that Spartus launched the Gladius right as I started to take the sport seriously. Although I was serious, I could not see an advantage to a $200+ paddle and maintained my Spartus "fanboy" status until the P1. Again, would it perform better than my Olympus that had become a natural extension of my arm at that point? So, I passed on the P1 and serendipity struck again when the edge guard on my VERY used Olympus finally gave up the week the Spitfire went on sale! After only a few hours of use I can already tell the Spitfire is punching way above its weight/dollar value. I cannot wait for this paddle to be fully broken in as you can tell it has incredible potential with every swing and it is only going to get better.

One week into playing with the Spartus Spitfire, near broken-in. I am enjoying the grip and control the ball. It has touch and power. I was able to make the ball climb up a few other grippy paddles with top spin. This is my new favourite paddle. If the grit lasts like advertised, it'll probably be in a lot of players bags.

I've played with a lot of paddles over the years, and the Spartus Spitfire stands out as one of the best values available. It has an exceptional blend of controllable power and spin, giving me the confidence to attack when the opportunity is there while still maintaining excellent touch on resets, dinks, and drops.

The lightweight feel makes it quick and responsive at the kitchen, and I really appreciate that there's room to customize the paddle by adding weight to match my preferred balance and swing weight. It's a versatile paddle that performs well right out of the box but also gives players the flexibility to fine-tune it to their game.

Really really awesome paddle. It's currently my main. Great feel off the face and the power is manageable plus it's really light so very maneuverable at the kitchen.

make the paddle has great grit and spin and fairly consistent. Feel I like to put 3 g of weight at four and 8 o’clock and one and 1/2 g the top corners.
