Great paddle I have ever played with. I have been a Spartus Ambassador for years, have played with Ballista, Centurion, Olympus, and Apollo. The paddle provides great power, good control and massive spin. Highly recommended!

Pleasantly surprised with this paddle! Purchased for son my son-intermediate/advanced level pre teen. It’s lightweight but still delivers in power. This allows him to use more force without compromising control of the ball. I used it a few games as well and really like it. The texture is great for spin control.

I love this paddle. It has great control, excellent spin, awesome at the kitchen. For personal touch I need to add a little lead tape to increase sweet spot. For the money an excellent value in this crazy world of expensive pickleball paddles.

Having played with the Spartus Apollo for the past 3 weeks, I'm loving this paddle! I'm a former college tennis player and hit with a lot of spin, both topspin and slice. Having the incredible spin rate of the Apollo, I get even more spin AND control, which allows me to hit the ball even harder, yet keep in the court. The larger sweet spot and twist weight makes it forgiving on off center hits.
Being of Chinese descent and born in the Year of the Dragon, I had to get the Year of the Dragon special edition! Not only does it play great, it looks great! The price point is less than half of the paddle I've been playing with and performs just as well, if not better.
I did add a Hesacore grip to it and made it even better!

Handles very well. Great spin. Pity despite asking in advance for the free neoprene cover to also be the year of the dragon to match the paddle was sent the normal black one. Hence 4 stars.

Despite the initial awkward widebody appearance, this paddle feels absolutely natural in the hands. I can't give enough praise about the massive sweetspot -- any hit on the paddle face is going to go more or less where you expect it to. The grit is good, and so far it's holding up to playing and cleaning without degradation after a couple weeks. Light, nimble, and decently powerful with incredible spin; I am perfectly happy with this paddle's performance, especially compared to the $200+ category.

I actually ordered the paddle for my wife and on her first time out with the paddle, she played really well and loved them. I purchased a 2nd one for me to use but decided to "gift" the 2nd one to her so that she has 2 to switch around with when she wants to :).

I’m a 3.9 league player and this paddle matches my game well. This paddle is light so it keeps my tennis elbow away. With this top tier surface, I can generate a high spin causing problems for many opponents. Plenty of power for my baseline returns deep and overheads. Excellent for resetting and making 90% of my drops. This is my 2nd Apollo and the Dragon version looks better and has even more spin capabilities. Honestly I tried to find a better light weight paddle with this much of spin, control, and enough power and could not. Highly recommend it!

I own more than a dozen of paddle and have access to many “brand” paddles including Joola, Selkirk, CRBN, Engage, Gamma, Franklin, ONIX, Gearbox, etc. If you are a beginner or intermediate player who wants to get a professional grade paddle to play with, this is for you. Apollo is one of the best choices to pick regardless of the price. Top control paddle I played with, you point and the ball goes there with little effort, with the largest sweet spot ever! The full face Kevlar has tons of spins when needed, power is there when you punch if hard. All around great paddle..not to mention the 2024 Dragon design is beautiful, to good looking to play IMHO.

It is the first paddle so I don't have a lot of experience with using many other paddles. However, I am at fire station where everyone plays and they have an assortment of paddles. This so far is my favorite paddle and they like taking turns with it when I'm not up. The sweet spot is huge and it has PLENTY of grip. The paddle is beautiful and I will be buying from Spartus again. I might even get the Olympus for "my wife".

I've used plenty of paddles from top brands, Joola, SLK, Gearbox. I couldn't quite find the right paddle for my play style and I decided to do some research on this Apollo that doesn't break the bank. I gave it a shot and all I can say is...WOW. I never thought a paddle could be so good and improve my game to how it should be. I recommend this to everyone and anyone looking into an advanced paddle. I will be coming back for more paddles from Spartus! 5/5 stars is not enough.
