from 607 reviewsActually I never thought I could like a kevlar wide body paddle this much!!!! Very good paddle. Played well with it from first time. Very pleasantly surprised! Great job Spartus!
Great paddle. My spins are deadly. The cushion is gives great control without sacrificing too much pop. It’s been almost a month with no spin loss. Hopefully it lasts like a carbon face. Overall amazing paddle.
Just played with it first time. Lives up to spin representation. I was pleasantly surprised by pop. The overall performance exceeded my expectations.
Great feel when I'm hitting ground strokes and super spin for serves and drives. A nice sweet spot area means the paddle is a bit more forgiving. I'm more of a beginner so I don't think I'm using the Apollo to the best of its abilities yet. For example, it's super light and handy in firefights, unfortunately, I can't sustain the pace in the kitchen that long, and speedups are harder to respond to. Overall experience is 10/10 and it's quickly becoming my main.
Love this paddle! You get just a little less power than the banned Gen 3s with a ton more control and a plush feel off the face. Great dwell time for your drinking and resets and you can still drive your groundstrokes. Overall great combination of power, pop, and control.
Coming from BnB Fatboy and Shogun, this paddle was the perfect in between those two. Nice pop, amazing power with great control. It quickly became my favorite paddle. (Thinking about grabbing another one in case haha). Great job Spartus!
First time Spartus customer. Paddle is listed as 14mm but it looks and feels more like a 16mm. Great power but also great spin which lets me keep the ball in when I hit top spin shots. At the kitchen it has great pop and I find i'm winning more dog fights now as the ball seems to have a little extra coming off the face. Had to work on my resets but have that dialed in. Great paddle!
The best surface I have played with. Amazing control and spin.
Great value and performance from this paddle so far. Feels very poppy yet forgiving with its generous sweet spot. Also feels very gritty and allows for a high amount of spin and ability to shape the ball. Really enjoy the colors as well.
this paddle competes with the best out there, hits hard and accurate but very stable on the dinks, definitely recommended
So this is the 2nd paddle after I started playing competitively. The first paddle was a Vatic Pro Prism. It was a great paddle to improve my game but it didn’t have the finesse during transition or at the net. I got the Apollo in the hopes of improving my drop shots and net game. I have to say this blew away my expectation! Hand speed is amazing and control at the net is consistent. The spin is also next level. The only thing I will add to take this to the next level is overgrip and lead tape. At this price point there is no competition.
I've been using the Apollo for a few weeks now, and I gotta say just how much my game has improved. I'm able to keep up with my friends finally. The enjoyment I get out of the games is immensely greater. The paddle texture is supreme, giving me control and spin. The light weight allows for quick movement, without the sacrifice of power. I was really digging pickleball before this paddle arrived, but now I'm hooked. The affordability of the Apollo makes it a great value. Best bang for buck!!!
Just started playing pickleball and this checks all the boxes for me! Wide body, lots of grit, 16mm core for control. After adding two overgrips it became the perfect paddle. Thanks again!
The Olympus has more power than any other Spartus paddle and probably more pop. It was great at countering speedups and had plenty of control. It is very maneuverable which help me in hand battles at the NVZ. As always, customer service at Spartus is A+.
