Has an incredible bounce when you hit the ball, and you can spin the ball like crazy. Feels light too. Love it!

I've been playing the Spartus Apollo for about a year and it's been my one and only paddle. I really upped my game with it. So when I saw it was being discontinued for this new Oracle Apex I was initially disappointed. But I ordered the Oracle to try it and now have played with it 4-5 times. It took a little bit of getting used to but in about a week of playing I have made the switch to Oracle and now am very happy to do this. I swing easier with this paddle and my serves and returns are more reliable now. My net game now feels as good as it did with the Apollo and that's one of the most important things I wanted from a paddle. I'm a 4.0 player and very particular about my paddle. The spin seems good and the new 'true grit' paddle face seems similar to Apollo. And with the price under $100 I'm a happy camper and look forward to playing with this exclusively.

The CFC layup with the 10mm core cells is an awesome combo. The paddle feels plush and when you hit the sweet spot this thing puts some scoot on that ball! The handle feel is PREMIUM. I like a little thicker handle so this thing feels amazing. If you need a lightweight standard shaped paddle with some firepower this is a good one. If you're a little more serious, i had great results weighting this up really making it come liven up to an awesome all court paddle. Big fan so far. Heavy main potential.

Interesting paddle. I own the Apollo and I enjoyed playing with it. The Oracle does have more power and feels way more gritty. I let others hit with it and the grit is the first thing they notice. Pop and control are there. Not too much time needed to adjust to it. For some reason, it seems like the sound it generates when hitting a ball hard is louder than my other paddles. Sounds like either the paddle or ball broke. I’ll keep this paddle in my bag for fun but probably won’t replace my current paddle of choice.

Best value for a wide body paddle!

I love this paddle. Has a good sweet spot, has good power, has good control and stability. The paddle feels like it pockets the ball which helps with control. It also has pretty good pop as well. I think this is a great all around all court paddle.

My first professional-level paddle (not from Brookstone) and I fell in love with it. Size and weight are perfect for me.

Best bang for the buck paddle!

Best paddle under $100. It plays way above its price. Huge sweet spot, great control, good power, enough pop. It is also much less likely to core crush or delaminate compared to thermoformed or foam paddles.

It’s exactly what I was looking for a panel. I’m very happy with it. I four of them I’ll probably buy more in the future.

Love the 5.5 handle, and it feels very solid. I can easily put both my hands for a twooey. The face is very gritty and the swing weight is just perfect. Great paddle for the price, Spartus! Amazing value and quality!

Great control paddle for the money.

The paddle felt very plush when hitting X-40s in the SoCal weather. I ended up adding lead tape to the top of the paddle to increase power and plow-through. Since the static weight is relatively light out of the box, the added lead tape didn’t noticeably affect the swingweight—especially during fast exchanges near the NVZ. Resets felt solid but required some adjustment due to the paddle’s soft core. I typically warm up with this paddle before switching to the Apollo, which is my main paddle for matches.

Easy transition from the Apollo.
Twenty + hrs. of in and outdoor play. Wider, hammer-sized grip at the slight expense of less paddle surface area at bottom. Apollo contact surface worn smooth after 9 months of continuous play. Not cleaning my Oracle to see how long the grit lasts.
A bit more pop (newer?) and control (grip?). As I hold my paddle just off the edge of the handle, this set-up works for me.
Happy with the grip tape, so far. Low swing weight equals faster hands during kitchen battles. This paddle offers good spin with drive punch.
Only negative is paddle recognition. With the Apollo, I could say, "Mine's the red one."

Great paddle, especially for the new/intermediate player. Large sweet spot, great surface for spin and control. The shape and 10mm cells in its core give a great plush feel that help avoid the pop ups and allow for extended play around the entire court.

Very happy with my paddle. The grit is excellent, it puts great spin on the ball. Nice comfortable handle, good length also. It has good power. Excellent pop, that gives me alot of confidence at the kitchen. Took me a few games to dial in my drops and dinks, but i adjusted to the pop.

This paddle is a very good value, Great spin and sweetspot.

It was a good paddle for the prize

I received this paddle several days ago and have about 5 hours of play on it. It is a great paddle and the quality feels like it could be $100 more. I love the handle size( both diameter and length)and the grit is exceptional. I added 8” of half gram tape to each side and it increased the stability and plow through. Sweet spot is quite large. You can feel if you hit off center but it is still consistent and doesn’t die off. Nearly ideal (for me) power and pop and I would call it all court. Control is nice and I was dialed into drops within a half hour of play. Dinking is predictable. I have had 8-10 paddles in the past year ranging from $70-190 and this one is definitely going to be my “main” for a while. I’m a 3.5 ish player. Amazing paddle for the price!
