Excellent for the price! Great pop and spin with very good control. Large sweet spot and I love the sound of the pop. I actually like the Spitfire more than the P1. Can’t go wrong with the retail price but even better with discount codes.
Widebody has huge sweet spot and the spin is amazing . The spin is still excellent after 40 games.
I ordered widebody Spitfire. Its really good and insane level of spin. Its really a good paddle who’s looking for power with control
Love the grit on this paddle which help generate a lot of spin, feels fast in the hands (widebody) with enough pop to put away the balls!
Great spin with mid-power and good control. That's hard to find that combo. It also comes in pretty low static weight and really low swing weight with the wide body. Only took me about 1/2 game to dial it in. I didn't pop any balls up which is a huge bonus. Grit is holding up so far. Great paddle at an even better price! It's not high power and it's not stiff, so be aware of that if those are your preferences. Highly recommend this paddle.
The Spitfire is an amazing value! Very easy to recommend for about $100!
Pros: Really good power on hard shots. Good spin on soft shots. You can really aim your shots well.
Cons: Off-center shots feel very strange. This paddle is poppy and that can make resets challenging if you’re not used to that.
I have played my Spitfire Standard/Widebody for about a week. I really like it. The sweetspot is huge and I see a lot less mid-hits (I started playing in August). Also the grip on the face has been good so far. I’m hoping the grip will last a while. Overall, I would highly recommend this paddle to others.
Plenty of power and lots of control at the kitchen. Grit is very impressive. A great value!
good performance
Great paddle! Nice sweet spot, stability, of course soon, and pop.
So far so good. I like the hollow sound it makes on impact. In a way it’s like audio feedback that I hit a solid shot. It’s very gritty which adds a lot of spin on topspin and slices.
Loving this paddle!!
Played 4 sessions and so far and so far so good. Really like the spin and the grit durability so far. I bought this as a backup for my Boomstick, but it may become my number 1 paddle. I just wish the handle was longer, two-handed backhands are bit tough, but I'm getting used to that.
Perfect paddle so far, wish the grit was more lasting but its upholding so far. For the price, nothing can beat this! Good job Spartus!
Of the 40+ paddles I've played with over the past year, the Spitfire is one of 3 that has truly wowed me. The YouTube hype is real. At $300 this would be one of my top picks. At $100 it's a no-brainer. You can't go wrong.
I am super happy with my Spitfire widebody. It took minimal time to adjust to my new paddle. Spartus is showing the pickleball world that other companies are overcharging for paddles.
Nice paddle. A little head heavy it felt but great control & pop/power
Excellent paddle. Comparable power and pop to a boomstick with more touch. Great value!
This is now my favorite paddle! I ordered the wide body and have been playing it stock. The spin is great, which makes baseline drives dip. What surprised me was the feel with drops, I appreciate the control I have.
The paddle has great power, pop and spin. It's light stock weight allowed me to weight it up to 8.5 ozand make it feel even better. It's very stable for resets and counters. I seem to get more shots back over the net when playing defense. The spin is great and I like that it's easy to get my returns deep. Also when countering drives I feel like I can punch the ball back deeper and I have good control with placement. It can be a little poppy when dinking so you have to dial it in.
Great paddle for the money. I rarely do reviews but this deserves one.
I've had the elongated Spitfire and I've been using it as my main in the past 2-3 months. Purchased the widebody the other week and was surprised with the difference. It has the same spin, if not better. Its a little bit more poppy than the elongated. It needs quite a bit of adjusting. But it could just be a break in thing. I love it though. I believe this is the best paddle line ever, price included.
This is a great paddle. It has great control, great resets, and power when I need it.
Top performance for a bargain price! Elite spin, power and pop. The widebody has good control and is easy to hit the ball solidly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a paddle.
Well balanced and big sweetspot.
Just an awesome paddle!
$100 paddle with $300 performance and quality🤙
Good power, great pop at the kitchen. The paddle has a nice feel and not stiff. The sweet spot is big therefore making it very forgiving.
Amazing, but slightly poppy. Anthony approves
